“Malaus ko pu” means “tuloy kayo” in Kapampangan. These are the words of Angeles City Mayor Carmelo G. Lazatin, Jr. as he welcomed MeTCJAP Board of Trustees led by its President, Hon. Anne Beatrice G. Aguana-Balmaceda on 21 November 2019 at Angeles City Hall. Also present was Angeles City Representative, Congressman Carmelo B. Lazatin II.
During the said courtesy call, the two (2) Angeles City officials showed enthusiasm in hosting the MeTCJAP convention in September 2020. Both officials committed to assist the Board and already assigned its tourism office particularly its MICE department dedicated to planning, booking and facilitating conferences. They were very eager to showcase Pampanga’s heritage and culture.
On 22 November 2019, the METCJAP Board was also welcomed by Clark Development Corporation (CDC) President and CEO, Hon. Noel F. Manankil. He was excited to host the organization’s convention this year as this is the first time that Clark will host such convention.
With its motto ”It works. Like a dream.”, CDC is proud of its accomplishment this year, especially the hosting of the South East Asian (SEA) Games. Clark also boasts its world class facilities, inspiring landmarks and distinct Kapampangan cuisine.
These exciting events and places to see being prepared for this year’s MeTCJAP convention are truly worth waiting for. Hence, “MeTCJAP, malaus ko pu sa Clark, Angeles City!” (RGAJ)
